Publicis Groupe, founded by Marcel Blanchet-Bleustein, is a French multinational advertising and public relations company. It is the oldest and one of the largest marketing and communications companies in the world.
“A Rage to Persuade” – title of the memoirs of Publicis founder Marcel Blanchet-Bleustein – describes the quality I believe most critical to success in marketing communications.
I believe that “rage to persuade” drives the best marketers/copywriters to seek out and embrace the perspective of the customer.
Only then can s/he accurately choose the most customer-valued, competitive facts about a product or service, illustrate them with the most motivational images, and present them in the most audience-appropriate voice to persuade the reader/viewer to action.
I share Marcel’s rage to persuade.
